The Story of ÄrräTreeni
"My relative's child had difficulties with speech. The speech therapist said not to worry yet. However, the child's parents were very worried. The concern of my relatives made me wonder if there was any way I could ease the parents' worry. If there was an app that parents could use to teach their children. This is where the idea for a speech therapy app came from. However, the field of speech therapy is so broad that we decided to focus initially on one area, the practice of R-sound at home. Rhotacism is a common speech defect and there is a shortage of speech therapists in Finland, so there is a need for a modern learning tool."
