About us
LispApp helps children practice the S-sound at home, together with a parent. The app is developed with American speech-language pathologists and is based on the same techniques used in speech therapy. LispApp is made by ĂrrĂ€Treeni Oy, which has developed speech sound apps together with speech therapists for eight years.
How it started
"My relative's child had difficulties with speech. The speech therapist said not to worry yet, but the child's parents were very worried. Their concern made me wonder if there was a way to ease it. What if there was an app parents could use to help their child at home? That's where the idea came from. Speech therapy is a broad field, so we started with one sound. Since then we have built apps for several speech sounds, and LispApp brings the same approach to the S-sound, developed together with American speech-language pathologists."
